Something Fishy
It's Official, the Tiger has gone Fish-Mad (nope, not maths mad).
I am researching madly about tank prices and set ups and cabinates and stands and filters and heaters and food and ornaments and oh all those fishies! Big fishies and little fishies and medium fishies and pretty fishies and marine fishies and tropical fishies and coldwater fishies...(breathes in).... and so many types and compatibilities to think about, and setting everything up and starting the tank and maturing the tanks and nitrate and ammonia cycles and plants or no plants and i want my tank now, not wait to set it up but the fun is the planning and selecting, but I don't have the time I need to study not set up aquariums and with all the fishies i want i'll have to get lots of tanks a cichlid one and a discus one and a community one and a marine one..... options options options choices choices choices.
It started with having to move my Arthur into a larger tank cos he'd (she?) outgrown the tank he was in, so I now have a spare little tank, which is of not much use for tropicals, but might be ok for coldwater, and then I started researching and finding coldwaterfishies but i don't really want goldfishies which leaves me with danios or white clouds or a few tetras or rainbows or paradise fishies or cories or bristlenose, buuuuut I want to get some discus or some angels and some loaches and some sharks and some gouramis.
And there is really nothing stopping me from getting my big tropical tank.
And I have had my Lancie for nearly 2 years now and i love how he loves me I am happy when I watch the ickle fishes and I think it will be relaxing for me.
I just have to find room, get a tank and stand and filter and heater, start it maturing, with just the one little fishy oh i love the fishes i got the tissue box with the clown fish (nemos) on it at work so i can look at fishies during the day.
Yup The Tiger Is Obsessed.
And, yes, the Fish Thing is a great Procrastinatory Device.
Maths? what maths?
*goes and sticks head into fishtank*
'blub blaaaaabbb blib bbblerrrraaabb'
*translates: No Maths in Here!*
(except for working out tank capacity and filter flow per hour etc........... Hooray! I am studying!)
Actually, I've given the Maths a rest for a few days. I am now Officially procrastinating Uni stuff.

A tiger, which is a very large cat, keeping fish as pets?
*arches eyebrows*
You should join the Q and Sky Fish fandom clube...
Yes, don't eat the fish.
But fish are fun. I gave away all my tanks and fish the last time I moved, and I miss them.
It can be such an expensive habit, though.
Yes, a little bit expensive, but it is keeping me occupied, and will give me pleasure, and if I have nothing in the fridge for dinner........
